Our Story
Cancer United was founded by Jan Sheward, following a life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer, when she experienced first-hand the lack of appropriate health and wellbeing support available to those going through cancer treatment.
Through the benefits we offer we aim to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of those with cancer from diagnosis onwards, inspiring them to embrace the things they can do and to refuse to be defined by what they can’t whilst also giving support to those close to them.
The services and benefits that Cancer United and CUFITTER® offer are inclusive to everyone and encompass all those whose lives have been affected by cancer including family friends and carers whatever religion or from whatever walk of life.
