Cancer United launches new website to support national growth

Published: December 10, 2025

Cancer United is proud to announce the launch of its new website on Wednesday 10th December 2025, marking a significant milestone in the charity’s evolution from a small local organisation to one making national impact.

The redesigned website has been commissioned to support the exponential growth of Cancer United’s work, showcasing the diversity of the charity’s offering and the life-changing impact and benefits it delivers to people affected by cancer.

Designed and built by Will Chidlow, the new website has been created as a one-stop shop for information, making it simpler than ever for people to get involved, access support, and make a difference. Key improvements include streamlined donation processes, clearer pathways to the charity’s diverse range of services, and enhanced accessibility throughout.

“This website represents a necessary evolution for Cancer United,”

“This website represents a necessary evolution for Cancer United,” said Jan Sheward, founder of Cancer United. “We started as a small local charity in West Sussex, but our reach has grown significantly. We needed a digital presence that reflects who we are today – a charity making a real difference nationally  – and that makes it easier for people to access the support they need, exactly when they need it.”

Visitors to the site will find comprehensive information about Cancer United’s specialist cancer exercise programmes from CUFITTER – the UK’s first gym specifically designed for people with cancer – to the charity’s choir, emotional support services, and community programmes. The website clearly demonstrates the breadth of support available to anyone whose life has been affected by a cancer diagnosis.

“We want everyone who visits our website to quickly understand how we can help them or their loved ones,”

“We want everyone who visits our website to quickly understand how we can help them or their loved ones,” added Jan. “Whether someone has just been diagnosed, is supporting a family member, or wants to get involved as a volunteer or donor, the new site makes those journeys clear and straightforward.”

The launch reflects Cancer United’s commitment to continually improving how it serves the cancer community, ensuring that support, information, and opportunities to make a difference are always within easy reach.
