How a simple idea grew into something extraordinary
OUTPLANTCANCER blossomed five years ago, thanks to two green-fingered Cancer United members – Sally and Alison – who wanted to bring colour and joy into the lives of others. What began as a simple idea to grow and sell beautiful plants OUTPLANTCANCER has flourished into a thriving initiative that’s raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
Soon joined by Becky, whose legendary rhubarb quickly became a favourite, the OutPlanters now grow and sell everything from hanging baskets to flowering tubs.
Today, OUTPLANTCANCER is one of Cancer United’s most loved projects – proof that community, creativity and kindness can grow something truly extraordinary.
