CU LIFE BALANCE

Juggling life, family, work, and cancer, together

In late 2024 one of our younger members, Hannah, reached out to us about how we can provide more support to younger people who had a received a cancer diagnosis, and from that conversation, CU LIFE BALANCE was born!

We understand that sometimes just being around people who understand can make a world of difference, and with that in mind , we want to invite younger people (aged 20+) to join us to meet like-minded people.

Whether you’re recently diagnosed, going through treatment, or even processing a past experience, come along to our social support group, meet like-minded people, have a chat, a laugh and share your story (if you’d like to.)

What is CU LIFE BALANCE?

CU LIFE BALANCE is a supportive group for adults who are living with or beyond cancer while also managing the everyday demands of work, family and home life. It’s a safe, understanding space to talk openly about the challenges of juggling responsibilities while coping with the emotional and physical effects of cancer.

Usually, with a meet up in a local pub, members can share experiences and genuine connection with others facing similar pressures. Together, members explore ways to reduce stress, maintain wellbeing and find balance between treatment, work and family.

CU LIFE BALANCE is about recognising that you’re doing your best – and helping you find support, stability and strength along the way.
